Checking In

Good Morning to you all. It's a beautiful sunny day here in Southern Ontario. What a wonderful experience the global Blog Blast for Peace was. Thanks to everyone of you who stopped in and left such kind words. Now it is back to NaNoWrMo. It is day 6 and I have 10,970. Actually I have more, but haven't typed up what I wrote free hand last night. I'm guessing I am over 12,000 now. The thing is, I spent all of October gearing up, doing countless hours of research and plotting. I get to chapter Seven and my muse decides to stray WAY OFF course. I love the direction it's going, but seriously, could my muse have worst timing! One thing I've learned over the years, is it's best to listen to my muse whether I like it or not *wink
It's only another 11 days until the release of Triad of Hope. I'm so happy to have found a new home for Juliana. Even better, she's brought along 2 other phenomenal women to tell their stories as well. Here's the blurb:
Juliana, Rosa, and Shani—three very different women with a common bond: all are on a journey of healing, self-discovery, and hope. Join them as they conquer fears, forgive past wrongs, and come to terms with their inner selves. Do difficulties in life really make one stronger? Can a shattered heart ever heal enough to love again? When one's life seems hopeless, what lengths will one go to find hope?
I'm having a contest to celebrate. You can find the details HERE
Yesterday I said good-bye to our puppy Charlie. We came to realize she has far too much energy to live in an apt and be confined to such a small space outside. She has gone to a big house, with a big yard. Get this, they already have a dog at home, a Male Jack Russell named…..Charlie LOL Can you believe it? I like to think it's a sign I've done the right thing. Anyhow, we still really want a dog and as 'coincidence' would have it, someone dropped off a dog at my best friends place. Her name is Chachi and she is six years old and has been totally neglected in her prior homes. She is cute as a button and sweet as can be. I'm happy to say she will be becoming a part of our family today. I'm so excited. She is part Pekinese and part Shitzu in shades of light brown, grey and white with a touch of black. I'll get a picture once my girls get back this evening.
Just a quick announcement.I will be blogging at Romance in the Back seat to celebrate the release of my Christmas release, Christmas Magic. You won't want to miss out on the prizes I will have up for grabs. Click on this Banner to have a look around, it's a pretty kewl place where she interviews readers in the backseat of a car. You'll just have to go and see for yourself.
Until next time, Wishing you Miles of Smiles.

You’re doing great on your NaNo. For once I am on target.
I am always amazed by the tangents planning induces.
Sunny Sunday #5 – Paper Sol
Adelle – when when when will you be on Terry Kate’s site? I’m so glad that the two of you connected.
Hey Mrs B. I am blogging on December 3rd to celebrate the release of my Christmas story, Christmas Magic. Terry Kate is a real sweetheart.
Thanks for stopping by!
LOL Nessa. I don’t usually figure out the outline of my stories before I begin. I thought for once I’d be super organized. Sigh, I shoulda known. Good luck with NaNo. So far I’m right on track as well.
