A large format, exquisite calendar featuring 12 illustrations from the Ellis Rowan Collection, all wonderfully realistic artworks of Australia's diverse wildflower species.

Marian Ellis Rowan (1848-1922) was born in Melbourne. From 1879, she exhibited works at number ous international exhibitions and was awarded 10 gold medals, 15 silver medals and four bronze medals. She exhibited 189 paintings in Melbourne in 1918 and two years later she held an exhibition of 1000 paintings in Sydney - the largest solo exhibition to have been held in Australia.

The 305 x 356mm (305 x 610mm open) wiro bound portrait format wall calendar comes shrink wrapped with a cardboard stiffener to decrease the risk of damage in transit and ready to send as a gift. Includes wiro 'loop' for hanging the calendar on your wall. The pages are single sided with no show through. Flip each month over to view the illustration and datepad on one page as a single view on your wall.

Includes International, Australian and New Zealand Public Holidays and other important dates and School term dates for Australia and New Zealand. Each month displays southern hemisphere moon phases and image captions throughout. This is a 12 month calendar - January to December 2024.
