About Readings Kids
Readings Kids is a speciality children’s and young adult bookshop that is home to books, music, games and more for kids and teens, and welcomes families and people of all ages who enjoy children’s and young adult literature.
Located in a building that was originally dreamed up by Melbourne architect Daryl Jackson, this shop is a light-filled, welcoming space for families and people of all ages who enjoy children’s and young adult literature. The gorgeous open-plan design from Nest Architecture is both playful and practical, and one wall features a stunning mural from children’s book illustrator and author Marc Martin.
Readings Kids Story Time
These weekly free sessions run every Sunday, from 10.30am to 11.00am, and are suitable for children aged 3-8 years. We ask that parents please stay with their children for the duration of the reading.
